How to Play Redcoats.io

Redcoats.io is not your typical battle game. This is a living, explorable world where you join massive conflicts with up to 1,000 players at the same time.

To start, choose your class: Musketeer, Cavalry, Cannoneer, or Sailor. Each class has its advantages and disadvantages.

Musketeers are on foot and usually on the front lines, fighting at close range. This class is too weak going solo, but strength comes in numbers. Communication with your infantry is essential for forming blockades.

Cavalrymen move fast on horseback, making them ideal for getting in and out of enemy territory quickly. It's hard to hit a moving target, but not impossible, and you are quite a large one at that.

Cannoneers play an essential role in destroying enemy lines before they can reach your Musketeers. Shoot with precision.

Sailors spend their battle time at sea, but not all your targets need to be at sea. Think long range.

In Redcoats.io, no soldier wins alone. Every soldier in red (hence redcoat) on the battlefield is on your side, and the difference between holding territory and losing it comes down to how well you work together. The key to the game is collaboration. Use the real-time chat to call out enemy positions, coordinate attacks, and organize your infantry. Know your role, trust your team, and play to your class strengths. Brute force will get you into the fight, but strategy is what wins wars.
