How to Play Tank Stars

You and your tank are dropped into a side-scrolling arena where you take turns firing at enemy tanks. You can move your tank left or right to reposition, which matters more than you'd think. Getting the right angle on your shot can be the difference between a direct hit and a complete miss. Each weapon behaves differently, too. Some travel farther, some spread wide, and some hit hard in a small area. Learning what each one does and when to use it is a big part of getting good at the game.

Weapons

You'll have access to multiple weapons per tank and can switch between them before each shot. Weapons range from basic blasts to stingers, crossfire spreads, rocket swarms, sinkholes, fireworks, and more. Some are great for close range, others for distance. Experiment and pay attention to what each one does, because the right weapon at the right moment can end a fight instantly.

Tanks

Your starting tank is basic, but there are plenty to unlock as you progress. Each tank comes with its own unique set of abilities. Some standouts include:

Stack enough cards for a specific ability, and you can level it up, increasing its damage and effectiveness significantly. Upgrading the right abilities on the right tank can turn a decent loadout into something that one-shots enemies. Stick with one tank and invest in it rather than spreading your upgrades thin.

Weather & Terrain

• Wind can affect the trajectory of your shots, so you may need to adjust your aim accordingly. Pay attention to the wind indicator before firing. Terrain also plays a role since getting to higher ground can give you a better shooting angle on your opponent.

• Reposition your tank before shooting to get a better angle
• Learn each weapon's range so you know when to use it
• Upgrade one tank consistently rather than switching constantly
