Shred the Evidence

Drag each document into a beige 1980s office shredder and watch it come out the other side. Strips hang like a curtain, then fall and pile up in the bin.

Push harder, earn more. Drag further down to force paper through faster. A hot motor pays x1.5 in the amber zone and x2 in the red. Push too far and the thermal fuse trips.

Twelve case files, from a sticky note to a gold bar. Paper cuts into printed strips, floppy disks and cards snap into stiff pieces, and phones, hard drives and laptops break into chunks of circuit board that clatter into the bin.

Upgrade sharper blades, a cooling fan, a bin compactor, cross-cut confetti blades, a recycling contract, a night intern and an auto-bagger. Close the case before the audit and start the next night with double pay.

Controls

• Left-click or tap, then drag a document down the shredder. Drag lower to push harder.
• On desktop, you can also hold down the space or down arrow key to push the document into the shredder.
• Left-click, press the E key, or tap the bin when it is full to empty it.
